IRIDOLOGY

Dr. Robin Proetta, Certified Iridologist

What is Iridology?

Iridology is the study of the color, pigmentations, and structure of the iris of the eye as they relate genetically through reflex response to the strengths and deficiencies of the body systems. No two eyes are alike! Each color and marking has a unique meaning for each individual.

Through extensive research, the iris has been found to be a type of “map” which corresponds to various organs, glands and systems of the body. The iridologist has been trained to “read” and understand the meaning of various pigmentations and structural patterns of the fibers of the iris, and how these findings relate to the health of the individual. Iridology is one of the best non-invasive assessment tools available to be able to know the areas of the body that are genetically strong as well as deficient.

The process through which a person’s eyes are studied and recommendations made is called an Iris Analysis. An iris analysis in our office consists of the patient completing a history form and the actual examination. The examination consists of taking a photograph of the eye with a specialized camera and manual inspection with the use of a magnifying lens and light. A brief overview is given during your appointment. However, once the iris photographs have been carefully studied you will receive a suggestion sheet for nutritional, lifestyle and exercise considerations.
